By contributing your tithes and offerings to what Foundation is doing in the church and the community, we are using what God has given us to share the Good News of Jesus Chirst. We give not out of obligation, but out of gratitude - it is an act of worship. Your donation makes a difference in the lives of real people in our community and all over the world through our church ministries and mission partners.
We give because God gave first.
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; [ Proverbs 3:9 ]
Tithing isn't complicated. The word "tithe" comes from a Hebrew word that means tenth. It is literally the act of giving God the first tenth of our increase. When we understand that all we have comes from God, it becomes a blessing to be generous and to be able to give back a portion of what He has blessed us with.
A tithe is a specific amount that you give first, and an offering is anything extra that you give beyond that. It is a chance for you to be extravagantly generous. You can give additional gifts to the general fund, or to a specific project by selecting it in the giving form.
